A LEGACY OF SONG
The Boys and Girls Choir
of Harlem Alumni Association and The Alumni Ensemble's mission is to continue the legacy of Dr. Walter Turnbull
and The Boys and Girls Choirs of Harlem by being an artistically driven organization dedicated to providing its members and
its community in general with an ongoing broad-based education and networking outlet.The Alumni Association
along with the Alumni Ensemble will continue a comprehensive program of academics, music, artistic education, counseling
and the performing arts, in an effort to help prepare inner-city youth to become disciplined, confident, motivated and successful
Americans. We will also create a scholarship fund and enter
into partnerships with colleges and corporations to help further the above stated goals.
